Alexandria CO #2

This morning I attended Calyn Stringer's grammar lesson. She started the class similar to Ms.Walters by putting the agenda on the side of the board. Before she started going over the lesson, Mrs. Stringer answered a question that a student asked yesterday that she wasn't so sure of. I thought it was great that she got back to him about the question. Mrs.Stringer then reviewed the lesson from yesterday, which was adjective clauses, and involved the class by getting them to write their answers on the board. I thought that it was a great activity that got the students involved, since they were such a small class. After that they focused on the new lesson, which was noun clauses. She gave them an explanation on what a noun clause was, and made them do an activity together. I felt that the activity was fun, and easy to understand. I enjoyed the way she taught the class, and felt that higher level classes get to fully understand the lesson because of the size of the class.
