Alexandria TS #3

Today I tutored Badah and Hesham at the library. I was really nervous at first, and worried that group tutoring would be difficult for them. I found out that the two of them knew each other, and that they got along pretty well. I introduced myself to them, and I jumped right into the question to get to know them. I really a lot about the two, but after that I started asking them academic questions about school. The two of them believe that reading is their weakness, and I was quite curious to hear them read. I found out that a couple of words for the article that I told them to read may have been too hard. Badah understood the article more than Hesham, whom has problem with focusing on what he's reading. Hesham is focused mostly on the words than Badah. After getting through the article I felt that I needed to prepare more things for them because they managed to get through it pretty quickly. I then decided to continue talking to them, and realized that they would correct themselves sometimes when they talked, which I believe was admirable. I did not have much trouble understanding them because the two have been speaking English for quite some time, and enjoy talking in English. I will be more prepared on our next tutoring session, and have them read a paragraph then write two sentences on the main idea of the paragraph.
