Alexandria CP #2

Today I met up with Ghadeer at Starbucks after class. She was friendly, and she bought me a drink from Starbucks. I felt horrible because I wanted to buy her something, and I told her next time I would. She told me a couple of things about her culture, and I learned a lot from her. I asked her if there was a lot of traffic, and she told me there wasn't. However, during Christmas it gets super busy. Then I asked her how long she has been speaking in English, and she said that she's been here for three months. I thought that her English was pretty good because I could understand her, but there were some moments when we had to depend on google translate to get our message across. After our time together at Starbucks I offered her a ride home because it was the least I could do. As I was driving her home we talked about our family, and I told her she was so lucky to have three sisters and a brother. She told me that she could be a big sister to me, and I thought that was really nice of her. I look forward to the next time we meet!
