Bria CP #5

During this meeting, my conversation partner and I mostly talked about the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). I found out that he has already planned to take this test twice. My conversation partner plans to stay at CIES until he first takes the test on the 30th of this month in Tampa. Then, he will go back to his country for two months where he will take the IELTS again a month later. He said that he would only take this test two times because he does not have enough money to take it a third time. Because of this, I wonder how much the test was, so I asked him. I found out that the IELTS cost $250. This led me to my next question: how many selections are on the test? I found out that there are four selections: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. After a bit of math, I realized that each selection of the IELTS cost $62.50. Above all, I learned that the IELTS is really expensive because not only does a person have to pay for the test, they also have to pay for transportation to get to the test.
