Wednesday, June 10, I tutored Abdullah. I asked him how class went, and he said that it was very boring since it was finals week. After talking for a bit I had him do some topics for writing an essay. The topics that I used were if he agreed or disagreed to certain situations, and tried to organize his idea as fast as he could. It  was hard to do it within certain times, and he slowly improved. He thought that it was helpful, and said that he would continue to practice in the future. After that, I tried to help him find apps for the TOEFL test. We found an app that could help him with his vocabulary, and thought that it was great. Finally, we had a short discussion before he had to go. We talked about religion, and I learned a lot about the Muslim religion. I look forward to our last tutoring session later this week.
