Katie TS #15

Today was my last tutoring session with Matthew. Matthews mom provided one vocabulary worksheet for him to complete and then said that we should do something fun for the last day. Matthew's brother, David, brought a deck of cards to play with. Although I didn't plan in advance for this, I fortunately had a deck of cards in my backpack. Matthew and I played go-fish and war before we joined Santi and David in a game I called peanut butter. Overall I am glad I got Matthew as a child tutee. His rough days can be tough, but I gained good experience learning how to cope with children who don't have intrinsic motivation to study.
