I met with
Manal. She is from Saudi Arabia. She came to our meeting with her husband. They
are both teachers in their country. We had a very warm conversation. They told
me about their CIES class. In addition to that we talked about their culture
and their country. Although they missed their family they were happy to be in
the United States. Further in our conversation, we realized that we had common
words we used both in Turkish and Arabic. I am so happy to know them.
