Kane TS#16

This was my last tutoring session with Kwon. We have become good friends with each other and Kwon loves to keep in touch with me. For this tutoring session Kwon and I played the game ‘descriptionary’ I made this game up for a class I had to teach. The class I taught was upper level so most of the words were too easy for the students. For Kwon they were perfect. I explained the game and how to describe things. Being able to provide descriptions is an essential skill in the English language. Most of the words Kwon knew, but had a hard time describing them to me. I told him to think basic; what color? what shape? what purpose? As the game went on Kwon became better and better at describing things to me. I think this game worked in the sense of teaching Kwon and essential skill. Kwon and I will keep in touch and I am always open to tutor or help him with his school work.
