On May 29th, after our conversation, Ki Woong and I began a tutoring session at Books a Million. Those impromptu tutoring sessions actually did not result from my solicitation but because Ki Woong, upon learning that I was an English and Creative-Writing major, asked for my help reading and editing his thesis. I didn't have a method for planning this tutoring work really; however, with my major work I felt I had long been preparing for it. At times I was confused as to whether some structure in his written work was the result of some component of Public Administration study that I did not know about, or whether it resulted from a linguistic communication that it was my job to fix. I gradually improved with this over the course of working with Ki Woong, and I think that I was helpful to him.
