Carolina TS#12

This week I tutored Jun from South Korea. It was nice being in the same timezone for the first time, since I am in Japan. He was very happy to see me and told me how he had not been in school for a few days because of the MERS breakout. He had a lot of homework to catch up on and told me about the history lessons he was working on. We watched a video of a battle in the 1500s between the Japanese and the Koreans. It was very cool to learn about Japanese and Korean history, since I was not very familiar. He really enjoyed the music in the video and I enjoyed his enthusiasm. We will be meeting again tonight and I am looking forward to talking to him.
