Shanti TS#14

Today I observed Lane tutor Jun-suk. The boy first apologized to her for being a little alt the because they had to pick up his dad because it was raining. Next they picked up watching a show about Japanese and Korean history. While they watched it she asked him questions about what was going on. I liked how she conversed with him about the show. She talked to him more like she was his friend and not just his tutor. He seemed to really like that she showed interest in what he liked. While they were watching n would explain things such as those are the people from the old land or that's the bad guy. I could tell he was really excited about the show and really liked that Lane was watching it with him. I could see that he was very comfortable with her. Every time a part came on with fighting he would tell her "sorry. Don't watch don't watch". I thought that was very sweet of him. Overall I really enjoyed observing. I thought Lane had done Jun-suk very good job connecting with Jun-Suk.
