My very last session with Miss Nayun :(
We took it easy today, to say the least, kind of as a celebratory way to end our sessions together especially since she is officially the first English language student I've ever had. What a lovely thing to be able to say. It was superhero day in the library today and we went over to the activity center and picked up some superhero masks and figured out our superhero names based on our initials. We designed each other's superhero masks by asking about the other's favorite colors and fitting them to the other's head. We talked about fun things that we like to do and I actually showed her how my phone works and let her text one of my friends. No matter what I've done with our lessons or conversations, I always kept the communication at maximum, constantly asking question, constantly making sure she replies with something, It has been a truly rewarding experience tutoring Nayun, and while I might not have tutoring at maximum capacity, it was an incredible learning experience and I've figured out how to maintain interest with younger students. Her dad gave me a wonderful thank you as well.
