Miles CP#2

Wednesday May 20, 2015 - I picked up Soud in my car from the bus stop in front of CIES. We went to The Plant, a local art gallery and community center located on the corner of Gaines St. and Railroad St. I introduced Soud to a few of my friends there and explained to him what The Plant is and what sort of events go on there. Soud told me that he he does not usually enjoy going to art galleries in his spare time. He prefers to read about and look at fast cars online. He did seem interested in watching some live bands in the future. We walked around the center and looked at the art on the walls as well as looked at the upcoming events. I told him that we could attend a poetry writing class together if he was interested, but he said he preferred not to. After our trip to The Plant, I brought Soud back to CIES. We made plans to get lunch next week around the same time.
