Kane TS#11

My third session with Kwon I wanted to focus on everyday situations and how he could handle them. He had texted me earlier in the week wanting to get a haircut but he didn't know how to go about doing it. He had many questions for me so I decided today we could go over some situations he may encounter and how he could deal with them. We first started out with introducing yourself to strangers in a park or bar. We wrote some dialogue and acted it out. I think this was helpful for Kwon because he now knows how to deal with certain situations. We were able to get him a hair appointment and soon he will get his haircut. We also worked on some formal talk, Kwon had to go into the insurance office so we talked about different things he  could so and say if the employee was talking to fast for him to understand. Kwon is not taking the TOEFL so I want to focus on speaking and listening the most.
