Carolina TS#13

Jun and I met over Skype and talked about the outbreak of MERS, which is currently affecting everyday life in South Korea. He was sent home from school because he had a light fever and had to spend the day at home. He was a little bit sad that his summer break is now cut down to ten days. We talked about his potential plans of going to Japan or China for summer vacation. We also talked about the rival history that Korea and Japan have had for centuries. This conversation came from the historical battle video we saw last time we spoke and from my visiting of Japan. I learned a lot talking to Jun and enjoy getting to know him. He is a very smart boy and understands all the idioms I use. If he continues speaking with natives, he will not loose his american accent.
