O'Neill TS # 11

Hamoud and I met for the last time on June the 13th. He was leaving the following day back to Kuwait to visit for the summer. We agreed that when he would come back we would continue being friends. For our final tutoring session I brought in a writing assignment referring back to a diagram. It wasn't the most exciting assignment, but we managed to break it through. We went through the directions which asked to make references between each line in the diagram. The reading gave a few key phrases we could use for the assignment. So we started out by observation. He had a few questions on the phrases, so we reviewed those as well. After all this we started plotting out what we would write about the diagram. I made sure we started with key points, and afterwards put our thoughts together for the actual writing. I wasn't very picky on what we wrote, since it was only the first draft. When we were done, I let him read it back to me. At the end of our session I wished him a great trip and told him I was looking forward to seeing him around campus. He wants to study engineering.
