On Monday the 1st of June I tutored DJ at 9:00 am. I asked him about his weekend to being. He told me he went shopping for summer clothes. This lead us to talk about the seasons and weathers of South Korea. He talked about the summer being very hot at about 30 degrees Celsius. He also told me that summers and winters are becoming longer because of global warming. DJ told me that his favorite season is spring and autumn. He likes the mountains and the leaves changing. The main mistakes he made during this portion where expressions. He said "I can't unbearable hot weather". I corrected him on this and he understood. The other mistake he made was saying he was "weak at cold". I told him that a better expression was "I am not good with the cold".  After this he wanted to talk about the situation with the police ad racism in the U.S. He wanted to know what the reason was for racism. I found this hard to explain . He didn't understand why black people were being treated so badly by the police. I tried to explain that the U.S. Has a long history of problems like this with black people and that there really wasn't a specific reason why the police treat people like that. I found it very difficult to explain why this was happening to him because he had never experienced it in his own country. Despite this it was a very good session and he didn't make any major grammar errors.
